# Connect your accounts

Choose the right connection and verify that your social account is ready to use.

Open **Settings → Connect Pages → Add a page** in the workspace that should own the connection. Choose an available provider and complete its sign-in flow yourself.

| Connection           | What to expect                                                                    |
| -------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Facebook & Instagram | Facebook Pages and linked professional Instagram accounts through Meta            |
| Instagram            | Direct sign-in for a professional Instagram account, when offered                 |
| WhatsApp             | Business-number messaging, when offered                                           |
| YouTube              | Video and Shorts comments; not a DM channel                                       |
| TikTok               | Organic comments on eligible Business Accounts, only when connection is available |

The provider cards shown in your workspace are the availability check. A channel marked as coming soon is not enabled by following another channel's instructions. Capabilities also differ after connection: a comments-only account cannot run DM workflows.

## Before you connect

Confirm that you can authorize the intended account at the provider, have room in your plan's connection allowance, and are in the correct Meet Alto workspace. An account already claimed by another workspace needs its ownership resolved; do not connect a different business account just to bypass the error.

## Verify success

The account should appear under **Connect Pages** with its correct name and platform. Resolve any **Needs attention** notice. Then check its available controls in **AI Rules** and look for new relevant activity in the Inbox. A successful sign-in is not proof that every automation is enabled.
